Retalia Apex: A major upgrade to the retail back office experience

Retalia Apex introduces a faster, cleaner and more responsive back office experience for retailers, with new dashboards, adaptive navigation and redesigned reports and analysis.

Retail operations are more complex than ever. Product data, pricing, promotions, inventory, reporting and fulfilment all need to work together across stores, ecommerce, head office and customer touchpoints.

That is why the back office experience matters.

On 14 June 2026, Retalia released Apex, a major upgrade to the Retalia back office platform. It is the biggest day-to-day platform experience update since Retalia acquired Imagine, and marks an important step in bringing every part of the platform under one connected Retalia identity.

Apex is designed to make the back office faster, cleaner, more responsive and easier to use across the retail operation.

One platform, one identity

With Apex, the back office is now fully Retalia.

The previous Imagine branding has been replaced by a cohesive Retalia experience across the platform, creating a more consistent interface across every screen, workflow and touchpoint.

This is more than a visual update. It reflects the direction of the Retalia platform itself: one unified commerce platform where retail execution, growth intelligence and platform infrastructure work together.

For retail teams, that means a clearer, more consistent working environment.

For operators, it means easier access to the tools and information they rely on every day.

For the platform, it is another step toward a more connected and intelligent retail growth engine.

A faster, more responsive back office

Under the surface, Apex includes major upgrades to Retalia’s core frameworks and component libraries.

These improvements are designed to deliver a better day-to-day user experience across speed, responsiveness, reliability and device compatibility.

Retail teams increasingly work across different environments: head office, store, mobile, tablet, desktop and browser-based workflows. Apex has been built to make that experience more consistent, however and wherever teams access the platform.

What is new in Retalia Apex?

New login page and landing dashboard

Apex introduces a redesigned entry point to the Retalia back office, including a new login experience and purpose-built landing dashboards.

The aim is simple: put the most important information in front of users from the moment they sign in.

Rather than making teams search for the data and actions they need, the new dashboard experience gives users a clearer starting point for their day.

Collapsible navigation

The updated navigation experience gives users more screen space when they need it.

The side navigation can now be collapsed and expanded using the grid icon in the top left corner, helping teams stay focused on the task in front of them while keeping key areas of the platform within easy reach.

Improved adaptive interface

Apex improves how the Retalia back office adapts across desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile screen formats.

This makes the platform easier to use across different devices, helping retail teams access the back office in a way that feels more intuitive and consistent across working environments.

Redesigned reports and analysis

Reports and analysis are central to how retailers understand performance, spot issues and make better decisions.

With Apex, the reports and analysis experience has been comprehensively rebuilt.

The new interface introduces a cleaner and more consistent layout, improved navigation and a more intuitive workflow. Reports and analysis now make better use of the full screen, giving teams more space to review data properly.

Filters have also been streamlined. The most-used options are shown by default, while the full filter set remains available when needed. This reduces everyday friction without removing the depth and control required for more detailed analysis.

A new pivot view also makes it easier to slice and filter data across multiple dimensions without leaving the module.

Exports to Excel and PDF are faster too, making it easier for teams to extract, share and work with the data they need.

Why this matters for retail teams

Retail back office software should not slow teams down.

It should help them manage complexity, connect decisions and act with confidence across the operation.

Apex closes the gap between Retalia’s platform capability and the day-to-day user experience. It gives teams a faster, cleaner and more consistent working environment, while supporting the broader Retalia vision: transforming fragmented retail operations into a connected, intelligent engine for profitable growth.

For retailers, the back office is not just an admin layer. It is where pricing, reporting, operations, inventory and decision-making come together.

Apex makes that experience clearer and more capable.

Part of the wider Retalia platform journey

Retalia is built around a simple idea:

Retail. Growth. Engine.

The platform connects retail execution, growth intelligence and platform infrastructure in one unified commerce environment.

Apex supports that direction by improving the experience at the centre of day-to-day retail operations. It gives teams a more modern, responsive and cohesive back office, while providing the foundation for future platform improvements across reporting, analysis, workflow and intelligent decision support.

This release is not just a new interface.

It is a visible step in Retalia’s evolution as a unified commerce platform.
